2014 Christmas Ornament: Randy's Record Shop and its most recognizable andRandy Wood founded Randys Record Shop in 1946 in Gallatin, Tennessee. By the 1950s, Randys was recognized as the worlds largest mail order record company. Mr. Wood also started Dot Records, which became the home of artists like Pat Boone, Lawrence Welk, and Gallatins own, Johnny Maddox. It was Mr. Maddox who cut the very first Dot single.
