The alternate rule could be that if someone pulls a two-color pack and doesnt have either of its colors as options, they can reroll by putting back the mono-color packs and picking up a random pack in their color

I dont know how likely you are to be able to set this up, but at least being able to loot each turn helps you to craft your hand and make it happen

Morbid Opportunist was a preview card for PlayEDH during Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, so I love seeing this card again even though its on the cheaper side
