So unless Chasm Skulker is taken care of right away, it getting destroyed can be more of a hindrance than a good thing

On the other hand, Illusions can be cheap throwaways to banish any opposing characters before they quickly disappear

That might be a combo piece, a mana engine, a lock piece, or the exact answer you need next turn

As you might expect from a bunch of STEMlords, The Institute really doesn't see much of a problem with taking what it wants from those outside their group, sending Synths like the Eradicators to rough up and brutalize surface dwellers pretty casually
