Since Psychic is weak to Psychic in this era of Pokmon, one of the best ways to cover Hitmonchans weakness to Psychic, is with your own Psychic-type Pokmon (thats a lot of Psychic, my head hurts)

Ultimately it just seems like youll need to hope luck isnt on your opponent's side if you run into one playing Misty, because I cant personally see the developers nerfing a card that is inherently luck-based
