It gives each of your creatures +X/+X, where X is the greatest power among creatures you control, as well as trample, which lets your blocked creatures deal their extra damage to your opponent
The ease of searching is quite nice, with ManaBox providing card images as you search for cards and add them to your deck

Three mana to destroy (almost) anything at instant speed isnt bad, and the 1/1 token seems too insignificant to not run this card
It's very easy to trigger Minn's ability on our own turn since we just need to draw a single card on top of our guaranteed draw step: highlights include my personal favorite Mordenkainen since he triggers Minn reliably or makes Illusion creatures that synergize with our deck, along with plenty of other options like Curse of Verbosity (can also draw on opposing turns), All-Seeing Arbiter which also nerfs potential attackers, Defiler of Dreams which doubles as ramp - the list keeps going
